Job summary

Alliance Digital is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams for digital gaming products and platform solutions. You will gather and document requirements, facilitate workshops, and own BRDs, FS, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Tech Project Manager, supporting backlog management, KPIs, and UAT planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with requirement management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma).
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear deliverables.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese; stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience to support the definition, documentation, and delivery of high-quality digital gaming products and platform solutions. You will act as a key bridge between the client’s business stakeholders and our internal technical teams, ensuring requirements are understood, validated, and translated into clear development tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with client stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.
• Create and maintain product requirements artifacts, such as:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Functional Specifications (FS)
• User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
• Process Flows & Data Flow Diagrams
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Tech Project Manager, and other internal teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Support backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
• Perform gap analysis on current vs. desired system behavior.
• Assist in defining KPIs, success metrics, and reporting needs.
• Participate in UAT planning and execution, helping validate requirements against delivered features.
• Track and communicate requirements changes, risks, and impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, responsible gaming, and jurisdictional requirements where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Familiarity with API-based systems, backend platform workflows, and data structures.
• Proficiency with requirement management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear deliverables.
• Excellent communication(Chinese and English), stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with B2B platform solution, KYC/AML systems, CRM platforms, or data analytics tools(eg, mixpanel).
• Knowledge of multiple regulatory markets (e.g., MGA, UKGC, Ontario, US States).
• Understanding of RTP configurations, bonus engines, or odds/pricing feeds.
• SQL or data querying skills for validation and analysis.
