Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an Engineering Specialist to oversee maintenance and improvement projects ensuring optimal performance of building systems. You will plan repairs, supervise technicians and vendors, and drive compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate, retail, or M&E contracting. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of building equipment and components.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot building systems and equipment effectively.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate equipment maintenance, repair and minor enhancements to improve reliability.
• Supervise maintenance activities to ensure timely execution by technicians or vendors.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify and resolve system anomalies.
• Execute capital expenditures for replacements while minimizing disruptions.
• Evaluate and implement energy- and water-efficient technologies to save costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Manage service requests and faults for prompt resolution.
• Participate in annual budget reviews for operating and capital expenditures.
