Job summary

The Land Transport Authority in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager, Bus Rapid Transit Development to lead the development and implementation of a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, starting with the Tuas South study and potential deployment. Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in public transport, transport infrastructure, rail, bus systems, mobility, or major infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of public transport systems, procurement, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) for Singapore, starting with Tuas South study.
• Oversee system architecture, corridors, stations, traffic priority, and fare collection concepts.
• Drive feasibility studies, business cases, option evaluations and lifecycle cost assessments.
• Coordinate with internal agencies, operators, suppliers and partners for requirements and deployment.
• Develop procurement strategies, supplier evaluations, and risk allocation in contracts.
• Establish safety, reliability, regulatory readiness, and operational readiness plans.
• Lead a multidisciplinary BRT team and build organisational capability in BRT and automated transport.
