Job summary

Miss Muffet Cake Boutique in Singapore is seeking a friendly, organized Studio Manager to run day-to-day retail and operations. You will work in our Queen's Road studio, serving customers, handling orders and enquiries, and coordinating with our kitchen team.

This hands-on role requires initiative, excellent organisation, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves in a small, busy studio. A five-day week with occasional Sunday shifts arranged in advance is expected; cake decorating experience is

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, administration, hospitality or business operations.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, confident communication with customers.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets and other digital tools.
• Able to multitask, prioritise and work independently.
• Reliable, practical and happy to take initiative.
• Willing to roll up their sleeves in a small, busy studio.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, explain our products and handle retail sales and payments.
• Manage cake collections, packaging, displays and restocking.
• Keep the retail space clean, organised and welcoming.
• Help coordinate product sampling and neighbourhood promotions.
• Build friendly relationships with regular customers.
• Respond promptly to WhatsApp messages, calls and enquiries.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure orders are ready on time.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, supplier orders and deliveries.
• Maintain production schedules and administrative systems.
• Coordinate daily requirements with baking and decorating team.
• Identify ways to improve organisation and efficiency.
• Support smooth studio operations even when owner is away.
• Manage weekly Friday Bake Club orders and communications.
• Support promotions and introducing new products.
