Job summary

The Garcha Group, Singapore’s boutique hotel group, is seeking hospitality professionals to join our frontline teams at Maxwell Reserve, The Vagabond Club and The Serangoon House. You’ll help deliver warm, personalised service to guests and uphold Marriott standards.

Responsibilities include guest check-ins, room assignments, check-out, handling inquiries, pre-registering reservations, night audit, privacy-compliant communication, and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and room assignments following the hotels' rate structures, discounts and sell/upsell strategies.
• Process check-in/check-out including luggage assistance and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, etc.
• Pre-register, block reservations and, as appropriate, take same day and future reservations.
• Perform night audit during midnight shift and prepare necessary reports.
• Handle Marriott-related enquiries.
• Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Consistency in professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates.
• Flexibility to work in other positions/departments as the need arises.
• Comply with policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Write shift reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned.
• Check with manager / supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.
