Job summary

Sun Siong Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeller & AutoCAD Drafter to support design teams in creating accurate 2D/3D models and drawings. You will produce and maintain BIM and CAD drawings aligned with project requirements and industry standards.

Role includes updating floor plans, sections, elevations, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with knowledge of BIM 360 and ISO 19650 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on BIM modelling and AutoCAD drafting experience in architecture/MEP/structural contexts.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360 and ISO 19650 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants for design accuracy and coordination.
• Implement and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and clash detection processes.
• Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Revit based on designs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Modeller & AutoCAD Drafter to support our design and engineering teams in creating accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) and CAD drawings in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D drawings (floor plans, sections, elevations, etc.) using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design accuracy and coordination.
• Implement and maintain BIM execution plans, standards, and support clash detection processes.
• Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit based on architectural, structural, or MEP designs.
• Revise drawings and models based on markups, design changes, or redlines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, file organization, and adherence to CAD/BIM standards.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork, and the ability to manage time under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in BIM modelling and AutoCAD drafting, preferably within the architectural, MEP, or structural industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360, and ISO 19650 standards is an advantage.
• Familiar with local building codes, MEP engineering documentation, and project workflows.
• Autodesk certification and a solid understanding of construction techniques are preferred.
