Job summary

Guthrie Engineering (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a BIM Modeller to develop and maintain accurate BIM models, prepare construction drawings and support multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with BIM Coordinators, engineers and site teams to ensure BIM models and drawings meet project requirements, quality standards, and construction needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of BIM modelling experience in construction/engineering/building-services.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of BIM modelling standards and practices.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models based on design drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, construction drawings, layouts, sections and details.
• Coordinate BIM models with disciplines and identify design conflicts.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and related software.
• Ensure models comply with BIM standards, modelling requirements and LOD.
• Assist BIM Coordinators and project engineers in model reviews and coordination meetings.
• Generate drawings, schedules, quantities, and other project information from BIM models.
• Maintain model revisions, documentation, and file management.

BIM Modeller will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate BIM models, preparing construction drawings, and supporting multidisciplinary coordination throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with BIM Coordinators, engineers and site teams to ensure that BIM models and drawings meet project requirements, quality standards, and construction needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed3D BIM modelsusing Autodesk Revit based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and updateshop drawings, construction drawings, layouts, sections, and details.
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines and identify design conflicts and discrepancies.
• Performclash detection and coordinationusing Navisworks and other relevant BIM software.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, modelling requirements, naming conventions, and LOD requirements.
• Assist BIM Coordinators and project engineers in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews.
• Generate drawings, schedules, quantities, and other project information from BIM models when required.
• Maintain proper model revisions, documentation, and file management.
• Provide updated BIM models and drawings to support construction and site activities.
• Ensure all modelling and documentation work is completed accurately and within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree inArchitecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Minimum2 years of relevant BIM modelling experiencein the construction, engineering, or building-services industry.
• Proficient inAutodesk Revit. Familiarity withNavisworksand AutoCAD.
