Job summary

KOH Infrastructure Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller to develop, maintain, and coordinate Building Information Models (BIM) for construction projects in Singapore, delivering detailed 3D models and coordinated shop drawings.

You will read architectural, structural and M&E drawings, perform clash detection, and ensure version control. A diploma or degree and at least two years’ BIM experience are required; strong Revit skills are essential, with AutoCAD/Navisworks/BIM 360

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, M&E Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant BIM Modeller experience.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
• Ability to coordinate models and perform clash detection.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for construction and engineering projects. The role involves producing detailed 3D models and drawings based on design information, ensuring compliance with project requirements, BIM standards, and relevant industry practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models based on architectural, structural, M&E, and engineering drawings.
• Prepare detailed BIM models, shop drawings, layouts, and other project documentation.
• Convert design information and 2D drawings into coordinated 3D models.
• Coordinate models between different disciplines and identify clashes or discrepancies.
• Conduct clash detection and assist the BIM Coordinator/Manager in resolving coordination issues.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions, site conditions, and construction requirements.
• Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM standards, specifications, and company procedures.
• Prepare drawings and documentation required for construction and submission purposes.
• Assist in producing BIM deliverables, including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and quantity information.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and modelling issues.
• Maintain proper version control and ensure BIM files and related documentation are properly managed.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical input when required.
• Assist with as-built modelling and updating models based on actual site conditions.
• Perform other BIM-related duties as assigned by the BIM Manager or Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, M&E Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a BIM Modeller or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and\/or other relevant BIM software.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360\/ACC will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM modelling, coordination, and clash detection processes.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methods and technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams.
• Willing to work according to project deadlines and requirements.
