Job summary

HPH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a skilled BIM Modeller / CAD Drafter to produce accurate drawings and 3D models for construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and managers to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and standards.

The role involves developing BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, producing 2D/3D drawings across disciplines, and maintaining CAD/BIM standards while coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
• Produce 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) from 3D models.
• Collaborate with drafters, architects, engineers and consultants to ensure model coordination.
• Adhere to CAD/BIM standards and local building regulations applicable to projects.
• Organise drawing files, version control and project documentation records.
• Assist BIM Manager with templates and families for efficient modeling.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

3D Modeling:

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models using software such as Revit , AutoCAD , or Navisworks .
• Model architectural, structural, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems depending on specialization.

Drafting & Documentation:

• Produce 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) from 3D models.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes or feedback.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with other drafters, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure models are coordinated.
• Participate in clash detection and resolve issues between different disciplines.

Standards & Compliance:

• Ensure all drawings/models follow company and project-specific CAD/BIM standards .
• Adhere to local building codes and regulations as applicable.

Data Management:

• Organize and manage drawing files, version control, and documentation records.
• Support the BIM Manager in maintaining the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).

Technical Support:

• Assist in setting up templates and families for efficient modeling.
• Provide input during design development, especially for constructability

Qualification:

• Associate degree in drafting or CAD, or four years of relevant work experience
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of electrical circuitry and design
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeller or CAD Drafter
• Knowledge of BIM standards and drafting practices
