Job summary

TONG BEE CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a design-oriented BIM drafter to design and draft electrical and building services drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools on construction projects.

You will coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders, ensure compliance with standards and regulations, and support project managers in planning, scheduling and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 1–3 years BIM project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with project management to initiate and monitor workplans.
• Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, progress and quality.
• Liaise with Owner/Main-contractor representative regarding site/project technical issues.
• Attend meetings with regards to technical matters.
• Attend meetings regarding co-ordination matters.
• Prepare and maintain document/records pertaining to engineering matters, including inspection checklist, reports etc.
• Liaise and instruct site supervisors, sub-contractors on works schedules, quality control and tests matter.
• Liaise with in-house designer/consultants for preparation works necessary for the commencement/progress of site works.
• Liaise with Land Surveyor and Draft person regarding shop drawing and as-built drawing preparation/submission.
• Ensure works areconducted in safe and timely manner.
• Prepare and maintaindocument/ record for ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance.

Job requirements:

3. Good knowledge of AutoCAD software, well-versed in using Autodesk Revit BIM software/tools.
4. Good technical knowledge and planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works.
5. Resourceful, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Commitment to a 5.5-Day Work Week.
