Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (Greater Asia) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Food Lab Associate to conduct laboratory trials for Dairy, Beverage, and related ingredients, support product development, and maintain accurate trial documentation.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare samples, and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and safety policies in a fast-paced environment at onsite facilities in Nucleos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Proactive and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory trials and evaluations for Dairy, Beverage, Frozen Dessert, and other food ingredient applications using IFF products.
• Prepare samples, test formulations, and document trial results under guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in coordinating incoming projects and ensure timely execution of assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with Application Specialists on customer-driven new product development, product improvement initiatives, and market-focused projects.
• Support innovation and application activities that contribute to growth of the IFF Food Ingredients pipeline.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, work areas, and facilities to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and laboratory consumables to support daily operations.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with IFF policies, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other continuous improvement programs.
• Adhere to company quality, environmental and safety standards while performing additional duties.
