Job summary

Advanced Flavors & Fragrances PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Food Technologist Intern to join our Applications team. You will learn by doing in the lab and pilot kitchen, developing flavour applications for beverages, dairy, bakery, confectionery and savoury products.

You will gain exposure to real customer projects across Asia Pacific, receive direct mentorship from flavourists and application technologists, and contribute to product development from brief to launch.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Genuine interest in flavours, taste and product development.
• Comfortable with hands-on lab work and tasting a wide variety of products.
• Organised, curious and eager to learn.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of at least 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flavour applications and product prototypes across multiple food and beverage categories.
• Support sensory evaluation sessions and record tasting observations.
• Benchmark market products against our creations.
• Support stability and shelf-life trials, including sample preparation and documentation.
• Maintain lab inventory, raw material records and application databases.
• Prepare customer samples and supporting documentation.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related field
