Job summary

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is seeking a service-oriented Bell Captain to manage day-to-day operations at the hotel entrance. You will supervise luggage handling, coordinate transport, and greet guests warmly under the guidance of the Chief Concierge.

Responsibilities include high-level guest interaction, knowledge of local area, and collaboration with other departments to uphold the hotel's standards. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School or vocational cert in hotel admin/management with 6 months guest service experience.
• Able to read and write in English.

• Maintain attentiveness to all guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Promptly and accurately respond to guests’ requests and inquiries.
• Anticipate guests’ needs to deliver a seamless and personalized experience.
• Greet all guests in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner; learn guests’ names when possible.
• Stay informed of daily hotel events, promotions, and activities.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of local area, landmarks, and events.
• Keep Bell Services area, hotel entrance, and luggage storage clean and organized.
• Welcome guests at the main entrance with appropriate greeting and acknowledge repeat guests & loyalty members.
