Job summary

Global Container Freight Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive Sales Support professional to respond to inquiries, nurture existing and new customers, and drive sales through targeted outreach.

You will conduct telemarketing, arrange appointments, prepare and issue quotations, and follow up to convert opportunities, while coordinating with Network/Customer Service to align on customer requirements. This role reports to the Sales Support Manager.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
• Service maintain and develop existing / new customers through planned individual account support
• Establish, make phone calls to targeted customers, assess and qualify for sales development
• Arrange sales appointments; Create Sales Opportunity
• Issuance of quotations
• Prepare official quotations
• Follow up on quotations to clients
• Establish SOP with Network/Customer Service to ensure understanding on customer's requirements
• Sales Lead: Assess, qualify and pursue sales opportunities; submit report

Job description

Reporting to Sales Support Manager, your duties will include but not necessarily be limited to:

1) Sales Support

• Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
• Service maintain and develop existing / new customers through planned individual account support

2) Telemarketing

• Establish, make phone calls to targeted customers, assess and qualify for sales development
• Arrange sales appointments; Create Sales Opportunity

3) Negotiate for competitive costs from overseas office/agents/Shipping Lines

4) Issuance of quotations

5) Prepare official quotations

6) Follow up on quotations to clients

7) Establish SOP with Network/Customer Service to ensure understanding on customer's requirements
