Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to maintain daily BAU operations in a fast-paced end-user environment. You will troubleshoot L1/L2 incidents, support network and server infrastructure, and ensure system availability and performance.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, a IT-related diploma or degree, and strong ITIL-informed incident and change management practices. Collaborative teamwork across network and server teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure support, IT operations or similar role.
• Hands-on BAU infrastructure support in an end-user environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and basic routing/switching.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident, problem and change management.
• Good communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day BAU infrastructure operational support in an end-user environment.
• Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting and incident resolution for infrastructure issues.
• Support network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls and connectivity.
• Support server infrastructure, Windows/Linux servers, availability and performance.
• Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to alerts, incidents and service requests.
• Perform health checks, maintenance and operational tasks across infra environments.
• Coordinate with network and server teams to investigate incidents.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions and procedures.
• Follow ITIL, change and incident management procedures.
• Support infrastructure projects and improvement initiatives.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
