Job description

The Barista is responsible for delivering excellent customer experience through high-quality beverage preparation, efficient service execution, and adherence to brand and operational standards. This role contributes to smooth outlet operations and supports a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages to SOP standards.
  2. Deliver professional, friendly customer service across bar, cashier, and floor areas.
  3. Execute daily routines including station setup, cleaning, restocking, and end-of-day procedures.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bar, floor, and customer areas as per outlet standards.
  5. Work collaboratively with the outlet team to maintain smooth service flow, clear communication, and a positive working environment.
  6. Support the Outlet Supervisor in executing key operational priorities, such as inventory routines, promotional initiatives, and performance-focused tasks.
  7. Stay informed about coffee knowledge, brewing methods, and menu items to provide product knowledge and guide customer choices.
  8. Uphold and promote Tanamera’s values and culture in daily customer and team interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
  2. Basic understanding of espresso, manual brew methods, and general coffee knowledge, with a strong passion for learning and growing within the coffee industry.
  3. Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
  4. Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
