Job summary

SG UPAY TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a bakery production assistant to prepare and bake a variety of bakery items. You will measure, mix, knead and shape dough, operate ovens and mixers, and monitor quality to ensure consistency.

The role requires basic knowledge of bread and pastries, physical fitness for a fast-paced environment, and a positive team-oriented attitude. Training is provided, and shifts including weekends and public holidays may apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant bakery or food production experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of bread, pastry and bakery preparation.
• Able to operate basic bakery equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and positive working attitude.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Candidates without experience may be considered if willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread, cakes, pastries and other bakery products.
• Measure, mix, knead and shape dough according to recipes.
• Operate ovens, mixers and other bakery equipment.
• Monitor product quality and ensure consistency.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with daily production.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with packing, labeling and storage of finished products.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
