Job summary

BYD (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a technically skilled professional to provide on-site and off-site support to dealers and workshops, manage support tickets within SLAs, and escalate unresolved cases to HQ.

The role also covers maintaining ILS manuals and SST inventory, coordinating technical campaigns, analyzing field data, delivering dealer training, and processing warranty claims with HQ guidance. Travel to dealer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience in automotive after-sales, technical support, or field service (preferred in OEM/dealer environment).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and EV/hybrid systems.
• Familiarity with warranty processes, technical bulletins/campaigns, and service documentation.
• Experience conducting technical training or coaching dealer technicians is an advantage.
• Willing and able to travel to dealer/distributor sites for on-site support.
• Good communication skills—able to explain technical matters clearly to dealers, distributors, and internal non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and off-site technical support to dealers/workshops.
• Manage and resolve technical support tickets within defined SLAs.
• Escalate unresolved cases to HQ/relevant technical teams.
• ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Maintenance: maintain/update technical manuals and SST list.
• APTC (Technical Campaign) Management: disseminate campaign bulletins and track compliance.
• Data Analysis & HQ Feedback: analyze field data, report findings, track resolution to closure.
• Technical Activities: plan and execute engagement programs across dealer network.
• Training & Competency Development: develop training materials, conduct training sessions, track progress.
• Warranty Claims: review, validate, and process warranty claims with HQ guidance.
• Technical Hotline (Internal Support): act as technical point of contact for internal departments.
• HQ Support: support HQ-driven benchmarking, competitor analysis, and studies.
• Lubricants & Accessories: provide guidance on approved lubricants and accessories.
