Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Audit Assistant Manager/Manager to join our assurance team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution. You’ll lead engagement teams, manage a diverse portfolio ranging from local SMEs to Multi-National Corporations (MNCs), and ensure every file stands up to the rigorous scrutiny of Singapore’s regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Excellence

  • Lead and manage full-cycle statutory audits in compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International).
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues, particularly regarding Revenue Recognition (SFRS(I) 15) and Leases (SFRS(I) 16).
  • Utilise and implement Data Analytics (DA) tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency.

2. Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Manage project timelines and budgets strictly to ensure "busy season" efficiency.
  • Liaise with external parties, including legal counsel and tax authorities (IRAS), where necessary.
  • Present audit findings and internal control recommendations to Board Directors and Audit Committees.

3. Leadership & Development

  • Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional skepticism.
  • Contribute to internal training programs and the firm’s technical excellence initiatives.
