Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace is seeking an experienced AV Support Officer to maintain high‑quality audio‑visual services for daily lessons, events, and exams. You will operate and troubleshoot sound, video, and streaming equipment across classrooms and performance spaces.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent, at least two years in a school setting, and strong teamwork with ICT staff to manage procurement, training, and vendor coordination for the school's concert hall and media hub.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent certification required.
• At least 2 years of AV support experience in a Singapore school setting.
• 1–2 years of concert hall experience handling live performances.
• Proficient with sound control panels, matrix switchers, projectors, microphones, and video editing software.
• Strong teamwork, clear communication, and ability to meet tight event deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV and multimedia support for daily lessons, CCAs, exams, and major events.
• Set up audio-visual systems, microphones, mixers, and visualizers in lecture rooms, halls, and venues.
• Coordinate and execute live streaming and video-conferencing for school-wide virtual events.
• Conduct regular asset checks, manage equipment loans, and record AV repairs/servicing.
• Advise on hardware upgrades and monitor expenses with the ICT Head of Department.
• Deliver briefing and training sessions for staff and Infocomm Club students on studio systems.
• Assist school leaders in coordinating vendor work for concerts and media hub projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide AV and multimedia technical support for daily lessons, CCAs, national examinations, and major school functions.
• Event Setup: Set up audio-visual systems, microphones, mixers, and visualizers in lecture rooms, concert halls, and meeting venues.
• Live Streaming: Coordinate and execute high-quality live streaming and video-conferencing for school-wide virtual events.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular asset checks, handle equipment loans, and keep precise records of all AV repairs and servicing.
• Procurement Advice: Work closely with the ICT Head of Department to source quotes, monitor expenses, and advise on hardware upgrades.
• User Training: Conduct briefing and training sessions for school staff and Infocomm Club students on using specialized media studio systems.
• Project Liaison: Assist school leaders in project managing vendor works commissioned for the school's concert hall or media hub.

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent relevant certification.
• Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as an AV support officer or equivalent in a Singapore school environment.
• Concert Hall Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience handling the full spectrum of support for live performances in large concert halls.
• Technical Skills: Competency in operating sound control panels, matrix switchers, projectors, microphones, and video-editing software.
• Soft Skills: A strong team player with a positive attitude, clear communication skills, and the independence to meet tight event deadlines.

Working Hours & Commitment

• Weekly Schedule: Capped at 42 hours per week (Mondays to Fridays).Mondays to Thursdays: 7:15 AM – 4:45 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).Fridays: 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
