Job summary

Softvil Technologies seeks an Associate Technical Lead - WordPress in Singapore. You will guide frontend and backend WordPress development, craft custom themes and plugins, and ensure robust UI implementations using PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript.

You’ll apply SEO best practices and analytics to inform decisions, while mentoring a small team. You’ll leverage WordPress template hierarchy and modern theme builders to deliver scalable sites, maintain performance, and collaborate with product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology with minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in WordPress, Action and Filter concepts.
• Exposure to WordPress Template Hierarchy and building UIs using theme builders.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Create custom themes from HTML scratch and customize themes & plugins.
• Knowledge of custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields, and SEO.
• Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Experience in web performance optimization and caching.
• Exposure to team handling.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology with minimum. 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Should have hands-on experience in WordPress, Action and Filter concepts.
• Good exposure to WordPress Template Hierarchy
• Experience building user interfaces for websites using theme builders.
• Should be well-versed in PHP, HTML, CSS, MYSQL, Javascript, jQuery.
• To create custom themes based on requirements from HTML scratch
• Knowledge of Customization of themes & plugins
• Knowledge in custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields
• Should have a good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Should have worked on Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics
• Should have experience in web performance optimization and caching
