Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Web Developer specializing in WordPress.
• Deep WordPress Core knowledge, including theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency with Divi and Elementor for theme building.
• Strong PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills.
• Python for data processing, automation and integration tasks.
• Experience with cPanel hosting and Cloudflare administration.
• Understanding of Web Performance Optimization and Technical SEO.
• Proactive, autonomous, and capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking web developer to manage our website optimization and implement sustainable solutions to enhance our website and automate workflows. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of web platforms, learner-facing applications, internal business systems, and system integrations that support sales, marketing, training operations, and customer service functions. It involves front-end and back-end development, API integrations, CRM automation, database management, cloud deployment, and AI-powered solutions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Full-Stack WordPress Development: Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes from scratch and build/modify custom plugins to extend website functionality.
• Web Development & Page Building: Design and launch new landing pages or site sections using Divi and Elementor where appropriate.
• System Improvement: Proactively review existing workflows and site architecture to identify opportunities for technical enhancement and better efficiency.
• Automation & Data Workflows: Maintain and run Python-based scripts for data transformation (PDF to Excel/API) to ensure seamless data integration.
• Server & Infrastructure: Manage website hosting via cPanel/WHM and oversee Cloudflare configurations (DNS, SSL, and security rules).
• Maintenance & Security: Execute monthly backups, monitor web performance (speed/optimization), and ensure all security patches are up to date.
• Troubleshooting: Act as the solo technical lead for diagnosing and debugging day-to-day issues independently.

Job Requirements

• Technical Skills
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Web Developer specializing in Wordpress.
• Advanced CMS Development: Deep understanding of WordPress Core, including Custom Theme Development from scratch and Custom Plugin Development
• Page Builders: Proficiency in Divi and Elementor (theme building and customization)
• Core Languages: Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Python: Proficiency in Python for data processing, file conversion, and automation tasks
• Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cPanel hosting and Cloudflare administration
• Performance: Practical understanding of Web Performance Optimization and Technical SEO.
