Job summary

DZH International PTE. LTD. is hiring an IT Associate Support Engineer to be the first line of support for clients and fix bugs in our trading systems used by brokerages across Asia.

You’ll work with developers to implement quick fixes, log queries, and maintain documentation. Fresh graduates are welcome; 2–3 years in financial services support/development is a plus. Proficiency in Java, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Unix shell scripting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent.
• Fresh grads welcome; 2–3 years in application support/development is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS and Unix shell scripting.
• Bonus if you know JBoss, Resin, Oracle RDBMS or IBM WebSphere.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients, understand issues and provide solutions.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and implement bug fixes with code changes.
• Provide ongoing operations and maintenance support.
• Log, track, and analyze client queries to identify trends.
• Update documentation and self-help guides for clients and teams.

At the heart of our fast-paced client support team, you’ll work closely with talented software developers, take ownership of first-level bug fixing, and help us keep our clients happy and thriving!

What you will do:

• Be the first point of contact for clients, understand their issues and find effective solutions
• Triage, troubleshoot, and squash bugs with smart code changes
• Provide ongoing ops & maintenance support
• Log, track, and analyze client queries to spot trends
• Update documentation and self-help guides for clients and internal teams
• Weekend or after hours support may be required from time to time, with time off in lieu provided accordingly

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT or equivalent
• Fresh grads welcome! 2–3 years in application support/development in financial services is a plus
• Programming know-how in Java, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Unix shell scripting
• Bonus if you know jQuery, Oracle RDBMS, JBoss, Resin, or IBM WebSphere
• Strong problem-solving skills and great communication
• Open to providing weekend after-hours support when required, with time off in lieu provided accordingly
