Job summary

APL LOGISTICS LTD in Singapore seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations and meeting customer SLAs and KPIs.

The role focuses on inventory control, order fulfilment, and collaboration with procurement, customer service, and other departments to ensure accurate documentation and timely deliveries. This position is based at Tuas and follows a 5.5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records with the company’s system.
• Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages and coordinate replenishment.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely reordering of products.
• Oversee cargo or material-handling safety procedures for hazardous goods.
• Coordinate picking, packing and shipping of orders for on-time delivery.
• Address discrepancies in order fulfilment and resolve promptly.
• Implement quality control to ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Provide progress updates to customers and ensure documentation (packing list, BOL) per local regulations.
• Inspect stocks against orders and generate non-conformance documents.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are followed.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete daily tasks and communicate for smooth order processing.

Job Purpose

Responsible for coordinating the daily warehouse activities for the assigned scope in a safe and efficient manner and the adoption of technological devices where necessary to aid in completing the responsibilities assigned. Ensure all customers' requirements are completed and meet their satisfaction level as per SLAs and KPIs.

Roles & Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels, anticipate shortages and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely reordering of products.
• Coordinate cargo or material-handling security procedures for hazardous goods.

Order Fulfilment

• Coordinate the picking, packing and shipping of orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to order fulfilment and resolve them promptly.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products are properly packaged and labeled.
• Liaise with Customer Service and Support teams and provide progress updates to customers; arrangement for inbound and outbound shipments; check and ensure proper documentations are in placed as per local regulatory requirements (i.e. packing list, BOL etc.).

Quality Assurance

• Inspect and validate stocks (SKUs, colour, size, quantity, defects etc.) against customers' orders.
• Generate supporting documents for non-compliance for follow-up actions.

Operational Compliance

• Ensure workplace safety standards and protocols are adhered to create a safe working environment for all.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with other departments/teams to complete day-to-day responsibilities as required.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and timely order processing.
