Job summary

Captain's Eye Asia is looking for an Associate Applications Support Engineer based in Singapore to support our maritime AI video analytics applications used on commercial vessels. You will help customers get the most out of our software, resolve application issues, and work with our global Technical Operations and Engineering teams.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, log collection, documentation, and proactive monitoring of system health.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, and web applications.
Willingness to learn new technologies and troubleshoot systematically.
Strong written and spoken English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

Handle support tickets related to applications, dashboards, users, alerts, and integrations.
Troubleshoot issues, reproduce problems, collect logs, and document findings.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow cases to resolution.
Support customers and vessel crews with setup, configuration, and onboarding.
Monitor system health and alerts, proactively flag issues.
Maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation.
Occasionally visit vessels in Singapore ports for on-site checks and installations.
