The Public Service Division is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Centre of Excellence in Maritime Safety (CEMS) AI & Software team in Singapore. You will help develop digital solutions to enhance simulator training and assessment, and contribute to enterprise software initiatives across R&D, operations, and education.

We look for strong programming skills in C#, C++, Java, or Python, plus experience with RESTful APIs, containers (Docker), and collaborative, fast-paced work

Competenze

• Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with production-grade software development and RESTful API design using modern frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages (C#, C++, Java, Python).
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and CI/CD practices.

• Lead projects across the full software development lifecycle with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AI team to deploy and integrate AI solutions into simulation platforms.
• Design and develop reusable code libraries and scalable APIs for integration and interoperability.
• Drive code quality, performance improvements, and refactoring for maintainability.
• Guide junior engineers and interns in software development best practices.
• Deliver regular project updates and technical presentations.
