Job Details

Job Title: Associate / Junior Accountant
Monthly Salary: UP to $4,5000
Working Address: OUE Downtown Gallery
Working hours: Monday to Friday. 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of external clients on their accounting, payroll, tax and compliance needs.
  • Handle full set of accounts - carry out the responsibilities of accounting duties such as data compilation, bookkeeping, quarterly GST submission, corporate tax computation including tax filing Form C/C-S, prepare monthly management accounts, yearly financial reports.
  • In charge of the client’s payroll administration matters - ensuring compliance with Singapore payroll regulatory changes, processes filing, and payment of statutory payroll and social security contributions (CPF) to relevant government authorities.
  • Liaising with external auditors on behalf of clients for statutory annual audit.
  • Supporting/advising clients on any ad-hoc queries they may have on accounting, payroll, tax and compliance matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in accounting with minimum of 2-3 years of working experience.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and familiarity with finance regulations.
  • Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook, with an ability to become familiar with client-specific programs and software.
  • Experience with XERO/MYOB as accounting software and Payday as payroll software, with an ability to become familiar with client-specific programs and software.
  • Fluent in English and another language to communicate with multi-national clients smoothly.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experience
  • Experience with managing a portfolio of clients and the ability to prioritize projects to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Additional professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) would be a plus.
