Job summary

FORVIS MAZARS LLP in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support our outsourcing services for international clients. You will manage end-to-end payroll, prepare monthly reports, handle inquiries from clients within SLA, and support onboarding for new clients.

You will maintain accurate records, assist with tax filings where applicable, and liaise with government agencies. Strong Excel skills and English proficiency are essential, and you will thrive in a collaborative team focused on

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support payroll processing for client payrolls.
  • Attend to client enquiries on payroll matters within SLA.
  • Perform end-to-end payroll and leave processing.
  • Maintain personnel database and payroll documents.
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Prepare payroll items per payroll calendar.
  • Monitor and update payroll processing checklists.
  • Update CPF tracker after CPF filing (or local equivalent).
  • Prepare monthly rollover file.
  • Follow up on AR dues and retrieval of SOA.
  • Liaise with government agencies on payroll, CPF and tax filing.
  • Submit payroll tax filings accurately and timely.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Support onboarding of new clients.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to firm quality and risk processes.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required by the Manager.

Job description

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build upon your payroll expertise and experience. You will form part of a team providing outsourcing services and support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and support payroll processing and preparation of client’s payroll, which includes but not limited to monthly payroll reports, social security administration, statutory filing, year-end income tax returns.
  • Attend to phone or email enquiries from the client on payroll related matters (within 24 hrs), except for complex email (within 72 hrs).
  • Perform End-to-End payroll and leave processing.
  • Responsible of collation of inputs from various sources for payroll processing.
  • To maintain personnel database and documentation of all relevant documents (payroll advice, reports & correspondences).
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Prepare and compute payroll items in accordance with companies’ payroll processing cycle (payroll calendar).
  • Monitor & update checklist in during payroll processing
  • Update of CPF tracker upon filing of CPF return.
  • Prepare the Monthly Rollover File.
  • Assist to follow up AR dues & retrieve of SOA.
  • Liaise with government agencies on payroll, CPF and tax filing requirements
  • Submits CPF, IR8A, IR21 and other tax related matters accurately and timely.
  • Ensure deliverables are submitted timely, to a high degree of accuracy and processes are efficient.
  • Support the implementation and onboarding process for new clients.
  • Establish and maintain good client relationships with your portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure all firm quality and risk processes are understood and complied with.
  • Supports the team with any other ad-hoc projects and related tasks as and when required by the Manager(s).
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree holder in Human Resource or business-related subject.
  • Good command of the English Language.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and client servicing skills.
  • Has excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Able to pay attention to detail and highly meticulous.
  • Able to deal with confidential materials.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel and collaboration tools, i.e. MS Teams.
