About the Singapore Office
Our Singapore office launched in 2022 and employs approximately 20 people working closely with teams around the firm.
Client Service Department
The Client Service team builds and grows relationships with the world’s largest investors, supporting them with investment insights and portfolio construction.
Position: Associate, Business Development
The Associate acts as the “air traffic controller” of the team, ensuring prospective investors receive exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Client Advisors to understand marketing goals and translate the business plan into an organized operational cadence, including administrative and calendar support.
- Provide high‑quality, professional client service as the first point of contact for all incoming client/prospect inquiries via email or phone.
- Distill information and synthesize key points for the team and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate tasks, activities and collaboration sessions to meet client needs from visualization to scheduling.
- Drive execution, provide direction, and project‑manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate synchronization and communication across the team, tracking and reporting on status of key activities and maintaining knowledge repositories (e.g., CRM).
- Ensure team and stakeholders are prepared for all client/prospect interactions, including presentations, prep notes and technology.
- Coordinate logistics for clients and team, including travel strategy, events and presentation materials.
- Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently.
- Collaborate with other teams on projects to improve departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- High proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; comfort with learning new software.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record preferred.
- Experience in financial services or a professional business environment is a plus.
- Fluency in English and strong written communication skills required; communication with our Westport, CT, US office is regular.
- Reading and basic speaking in Mandarin preferred; conversational Malay is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Remote work flexibility available; most employees work on campus at least four days per week in the Singapore office located in the Central Business District.
- Occasional communication with the Westport, CT office may require calls or email outside standard hours, including early morning (7 am SGT) or late evening (8–10 pm SGT).
- Flexibility of working hours is required.
Compensation
- The wage range is S$82,000 – S$169,000, inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. Expected base salary is 70–90 % of this range.
