Job summary

VY SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced data centre operations professional to prepare quotations, manage maintenance for UPS and CRAC systems, and lead a technical team across multiple locations.

You will ensure timely service delivery, respond to emergencies, liaise with contractors, and maintain thorough records and safety compliance while traveling between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data centre or critical facility operations.
• Hands-on experience with UPS, CRAC, and building monitoring systems.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, RA, and MS.
• Proficiency in maintenance tracking and reporting tools; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a dynamic mobile environment and travel between sites.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage quotations for maintenance contracts, troubleshooting and repair works for UPS systems, CRAC units, and other critical infrastructure across data centre locations.
• Guide and supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
• Respond promptly to emergency requests to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
• Liaise with contractors for rectification and ad-hoc works, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Track maintenance activities, follow up on actions, and maintain accurate checklists, schedules, and reports.
• Lead and advise on technical investigations for rectification works, ensuring proper resolution.
• Be available for 24/7 standby duty to address urgent service needs.
• Review RA and MS to ensure safe execution of work.
• Maintain mobility across multiple sites; Class 3 driving licence advantageous.

• Ability to work in a dynamic and mobile environment, with flexibility to respond to emergencies and travel between sites.
