Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for data centre operations including M&E, BMS, and DC management. The role focuses on energy efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical facilities.

You will lead certification initiatives, engage with vendors and project teams, and drive standardisation of technical practices while ensuring timely delivery under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in M&E Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Experience or interest in critical facilities or data centre operations.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems (UPS, chillers, generators, etc.).
• Energy/environmental certifications (SCEM, LEED, Green Mark) advantageous.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for M&E, BMS, security, and DC operations.
• Lead problem management aligned with ITIL practices.
• Drive energy optimisation, audits, retrofits, and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Manage certification programmes (e.g. TIA-942, ISO, Green Mark) end-to-end.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and technical service vendors.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve design, build quality, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, SOPs, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Lead technical capability building across data centres.
• Support customer technical audits and reporting.
