Yakiniku Shiok in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations, supervise front-of-house and service staff, and uphold high standards of quality and service.
You will coordinate closely with the kitchen and service teams, handle customer feedback and special requests, manage rosters, coach the team, drive sales initiatives, and ensure hygiene and food safety guidelines are consistently met.

Job Description:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Supervise and support front-of-house and service staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
Ensure food quality, presentation and service standards are consistently met in line with company guidelines
Coordinate closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain efficient service flow and timely food delivery
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
Manage staff scheduling, attendance and deployment to ensure adequate manpower coverage
Train, coach and motivate team members to build a strong service culture
Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
Monitor inventory levels, support stock ordering and minimize wastage
Drive sales initiatives, promotions and upselling efforts to maximize revenue
Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and end-of-day reports
Carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the F&B industry
Customer-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills
A valid Food Safety Course (Level 1 & 3) Certificate will be an added advantage
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work on weekend and public holidays
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
