Job summary

He Xi Enterprise Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily F&B operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will supervise service staff, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and ensure compliance with Food & Safety regulations.

This role involves managerial training, shift flexibility, and contributing to sales initiatives while maintaining high standards and staff welfare. 6-day workweek with PM shifts and live environment expectations are noted.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proven ability to guide a team in a fast-paced F&B setting.
• Solid understanding of service standards and operations.
• Knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations and licensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations with focus on service delivery and guest experience.

• Conduct opening/closing duties, outlet inspections, and stock checks.

• Cover outlet operations in Manager's absence when required.

Job Summary

Support the operations in overseeing daily F&B operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, strong team performance, and an exceptional guest experience. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supervising the team, maintaining operational standards, supporting sales initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Singapore F&B regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations in overseeing daily outlet operations, with a primary focus on service delivery, team coordination, and guest experience.

• Supervise, guide, and motivate service staff to maintain high standards of service, productivity, and teamwork.

• Support staff training and development, including onboarding new employees, coaching team members, and monitoring performance.

• Assist with daily sales performance, cost control, inventory management, and other operational targets set by management.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety requirements, relevant regulatory requirements, liquor licensing conditions, and company SOPs.

• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, providing timely service recovery and escalating serious matters to the Manager when necessary.

• Assist with staff rostering, attendance monitoring, manpower deployment, and staff welfare to ensure adequate operational coverage.

• Support the planning and execution of promotions, upselling initiatives, and other activities aimed at increasing sales and customer engagement.

• Conduct opening and closing duties, outlet inspections, stock checks, and other daily operational procedures as assigned.

• Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient daily operations.

• Assume responsibility for outlet operations in the absence of the Manager when required.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality, Business, F&B Management, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant F&B experience, with supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to work effectively with multicultural teams.

• Strong customer service orientation with good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, manpower deployment, and basic cost control.

• Knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations, food safety requirements, and licensing requirements preferred.

• Able to work independently and support the Manager in managing day-to-day operational matters.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
