Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd is assisting a Japanese lifestyle restaurant group in Singapore to recruit an Assistant Store Manager for cafe/restaurant outlets. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive store performance, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in F&B or retail, strong leadership, and excellent communication in English. Shift work, weekends, and public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in F&B, retail, bakery, cafe, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth business performance.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and manpower planning.
• Train and coach team members on operational procedures, product knowledge, and service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Support inventory management, stock ordering, stock receiving, and stock control.
• Assist in preparing sales reports and monitoring store performance.
• Ensure proper visual merchandising and store presentation at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and management teams to support business needs.

Our client is a Japanese lifestyle company expanding its food and beverage business in Singapore, operating and developing a portfolio of popular restaurant and café brands. They are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and driving overall store performance.

Reporting to: Store Manager

【Responsibilities】

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth business performance.
