Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to provide senior-level support in Ancillary operations, assisting the Manager to meet the support operations requirements of SCH and its affiliated Community Hospitals (SKCH and OCH).

The role includes overseeing services from support operations units and supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of hospital facilities, with office hours and potential after-hours duties in emergencies.

Qualifications

• University degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in healthcare industry.
• IT knowledge is a must – e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel etc
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior / Assistant Director, Senior Manager, Manager, or Assistant Manager in Support Operations, the role primarily involves providing senior-level support to the Manager in meeting the support operations requirements of SCH and its affiliated Community Hospitals, such as SKCH and OCH. The incumbent is responsible for aiding the Senior / Assistant Director, Senior Manager, Manager, or Assistant Manager in overseeing the services provided by the support operations units and ensuring the efficient and effective operation and maintenance support of the hospital.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Training & Experience

• University Degree in Any Discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in healthcare industry. Those with experience in managing support operations will have an advantage
• IT Knowledge is a must – e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel etc
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Work Location: SingHealth Community Hospitals: SKCH / OCH Working Hours:
• Office Hours (possible call-back for duties in event of an emergency or when hospital operations are disrupted after office hours)
