ALPS PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Procurement Assistant Manager / Manager based in a PHI in Singapore. You will be responsible for procurement and contract management services within the hospital, working in a team to support daily operations for patient care.

The role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, experience in laboratory or medical supplies procurement, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP is a plus. This is a two-year contract.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in managing laboratory or medical supplies procurement.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Analytical and negotiation skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Plan, strategize, analyze and implement sourcing strategy in category sourcing and supplier initiatives and be accountable for the outcomes.
• Ensure the entire procurement cycle processes are in compliance with ALPS’ procurement policies.
• Partner internal users to procure goods and/or services in a timely, effective and compliant manner.
• Manage vendors to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.
• Add value through proper negotiation, product standardization and/or innovative ways of sourcing.
• Monitor and establish contract on time to ensure continuous supply of products and/or services.
• Actively solicit internal users’ feedback, address issues and seek continuous improvement.
• Partake in any process improvement project as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

About The Role

As a Procurement Assistant Manager / Manager in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 public healthcare institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the Procurement and Contract Management services within the PHI.Working in a teamyou will provide proactive planning and value add to the procurement category you are in-charge of. You will also communicate closely with hospital users and ALPS vendors to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.

This is a 2 year contract.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma or Degreein logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.




• Strong experiences in managing laboratory or medical supplies procurement




• Good verbal and written communication skills




• Proficient in MS office and Excel




• Familiarization with SAP would be an added advantage




• Advanced analytical and negotiation skills

• Independent, self-motivated and capable of managing tasks autonomously




• Positive working attitude, willingness to learn and thrives in a team environment
