Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is recruiting for an Assistant Manager to support the development and execution of strategic operational plans across inpatient wards. You will work with nursing teams and stakeholders to resolve issues, streamline workflows, and monitor service standards with a focus on patient and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a recognised degree and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong analytics, coordination, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience for Assistant Manager level and above.
• Degree holder with strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to coordinate multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of operational strategies and business plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Participate in healthcare transformation initiatives, including infrastructure enhancement and redevelopment projects.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned inpatient ward(s), including administrative, operational, and reception-related functions.
• Partner with nursing teams and key stakeholders to identify and resolve operational and process-related issues.
• Review and improve workflows, processes, and performance indicators to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and resource utilisation.
• Monitor service standards and recommend improvements to achieve high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate ward infrastructure and facility improvement projects, ensuring operational continuity, compliance with relevant standards, timely completion, and cost effectiveness.
• Support annual planning activities, including budgeting, manpower planning, and training requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, committees, and project groups to implement solutions and achieve desired outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement, digital transformation, and process enhancement initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints, including service recovery actions where required.
• Review, update, and maintain operational policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative and operational support to relevant committees and working groups.

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience for Assistant Manager level and above.
• Strong analytical, organisational, coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Project management skills and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

• Practical knowledge of healthcare or hospital operations is an added advantage.
