nippon sanso singapore ltd. is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations of office and workplace facilities in Singapore.

You will manage building services, vendors, budgets and safety compliance to deliver reliable, compliant and cost-effective services. The role requires 5–7 years in facilities or workplace management, a diploma or degree in related fields, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations and vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of office and workplace facilities.
  • Manage building management, maintenance contractors, vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works, ensuring timely resolution of facilities issues.
  • Monitor facilities-related contracts, service agreements, budgets and expenditure.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities, equipment and common areas are maintained to the required standards.
  • Manage office renovation, reinstatement, relocation and improvement projects where required.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, environmental and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement facilities management procedures, standards and emergency response plans.
  • Coordinate security, cleaning, pantry, waste management, pest control and other workplace services.
  • Respond promptly to facilities-related feedback and requests from employees and stakeholders.
  • Maintain proper documentation, records, asset inventories and facilities reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Support other administrative and workplace-related initiatives as assigned.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in facilities or workplace management, preferably with experience in a corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, building services, maintenance and vendor management.

  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and relevant local regulations.

  • Experience in managing contractors, service providers, budgets and facilities projects.

  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.

  • Proactive, hands‑on and service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
