Nippon Sanso Singapore Ltd. seeks a capable Facilities Manager to oversee daily office operations, vendor management, and safety compliance. You will coordinate maintenance, renovations and improvements while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Candidates should have 5–7 years in facilities/workplace management, with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of office and workplace facilities.
Manage building management, maintenance contractors, vendors and service providers.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works, ensuring timely resolution of facilities issues.
Monitor facilities-related contracts, service agreements, budgets and expenditure.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities, equipment and common areas are maintained to the required standards.
Manage office renovation, reinstatement, relocation and improvement projects where required.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, environmental and relevant statutory requirements.
Develop and implement facilities management procedures, standards and emergency response plans.
Coordinate security, cleaning, pantry, waste management, pest control and other workplace services.
Respond promptly to facilities-related feedback and requests from employees and stakeholders.
Maintain proper documentation, records, asset inventories and facilities reports.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.
Support other administrative and workplace-related initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities or workplace management, preferably with experience in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of facilities operations, building services, maintenance and vendor management.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and relevant local regulations.
Experience in managing contractors, service providers, budgets and facilities projects.
Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
Proactive, hands-on and service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
