Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a freight forwarding professional to organize shipments by sea, air or land and manage related permits and invoicing, based at Harbourfront, Singapore.

You will coordinate with contractors and overseas offices to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing, while handling quotations and project tracking. The role requires a Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent and 4–6 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent.
• 4 - 6 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land.
• Apply the necessary customs permits.
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore.
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents.
• Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required.
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment.
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU).
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project.
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents.
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate.
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager.
