A dynamic company based in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager (Accounts & Admin). In this role, you will oversee critical accounting operations, ensuring compliance while managing diverse teams and collaborating with stakeholders. Join a dynamic team as an Assistant Manager (Accounts & Admin), where you will oversee essential accounting operations and ensure compliance while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Supervise and review accounting operations for ongoing and completed projects, focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger management.
Prepare cash flow reports, cost forecasts, and variance analyses as needed.
Manage project costs and collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure financial accuracy.
Assist in financial and management reporting to headquarters, ensuring submission aligns with required standards.
Support audits, tax compliance, and internal controls in compliance with relevant procedures.
Lead a team of 4-7 staff to ensure adherence to compliance and internal controls.
Oversee administrative support for various site functions, including events and staff accommodation.
Handle project-related HR matters and assist in resolving staff issues.
Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a major corporate environment.
Strong expertise in full-set accounting operations, especially in construction-related contracts and revenue recognition.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management.
Knowledge of internal controls and auditing procedures, with familiarity in relevant standards.
Experience operating ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Understanding of relevant laws and regulations regarding construction is advantageous.
Experience with expatriates or HR-related matters is a plus.
