Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the soft serve machine, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
• Track wastage and manage stock levels for toppings and mixes.
• Assist with stock counts and prepare purchase orders for approval.
• Supervise shifts, assign tasks, and manage queue flow during peak hours.
• Handle cashiering, opening/closing, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Act as outlet lead in the Manager's absence.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and SOP compliance.
• Assist in onboarding and training new hires.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in daily outlet operations, stepping in to run the shift, manage stock, and oversee the soft serve machine when the Manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating and maintaining the soft serve machine (cleaning, calibration, basic troubleshooting)
• Support wastage tracking and help maintain topping/mix stock levels within set targets
• Assist with stock counts and help prepare purchase orders for Manager's approval
• Supervise Supervisors and Team Members during shifts; assign tasks and manage queue flow during peak hours
• Handle cashiering, opening/closing procedures, and daily sales reconciliation
• Step in as outlet lead in theManager's absence
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and SOP compliance across the shift
• Assist in onboarding and training new hires

Requirements

• Prior F&B experience, ideally with soft serve/frozen yogurt
• Some exposure to inventory management or stock ordering preferred
• 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role
• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working the floor alongside the team
• Prior experience with softserve/frozen yogurt is a plus.
• Confident, outgoing, and loves interacting with people.
