Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring an experienced Finance Controller to oversee the entire Singapore accounts and its Vietnam subsidiaries.

The role includes analysing product costing reports, managing transfer pricing documentation, GST filing, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. You will lead the Accounts Payable, drive ERP improvements, and mentor accounting staff across a regional team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Qualified CPA a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full set of accounts for Singapore and Vietnam subsidiaries.
• Review and analyse product costing reports for plants.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation between Singapore and Asia plants.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on audit/tax matters including tax planning.
• GST filing and coordination with external consultants for MES renewal.
• Supervise Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments.
• Implement ERP improvements to increase efficiency.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.

Job description

• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants.




• Responsible for transfer price and the required documentations between Singapore and other Asia manufacturing plants.




• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on subsidiary audit/tax matters including tax planning to maximise tax savings.




• Responsible for GST filing and work with external consultants for MES renewal.




• Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely payments.




• Implement improvements/enhancements in ERP systems to increase work efficiencies.




• Supervise and take leadership role in developing accounting staff.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.


• Qualified CPA a plus


• Minimum 5 years of experience and exposure in the manufacturing industry is preferred.


• An excellent team player who must demonstrate good communication skills along with influencing and negotiating skills.


• Possesses management experience and self-driven.


• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices.


• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Able to travel within Southeast Asia and up to 25% of the time.

• Working Hours: 8.15am to 5.15pm


• Salary: $6000 - $6500 over 13mths with 2-3 mths VB
