Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting leader to oversee the full set of accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries. You will review costing reports for manufacturing plants, liaise with auditors, and drive ERP improvements to boost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds an Accounting Degree or CPA, with 5+ years in manufacturing and strong knowledge of accounting standards. Willingness to travel within Asia is required.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or equivalent required.
• Certified Public Accountant qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience, manufacturing exposure beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel within Asia, at least quarterly.

8.15am to 5.15pm (Mon - Fri)

Up to $6500 with AWS + 2 to 3 months VB

Responsibilities

• Oversees the full set of Accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries
• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants
• Responsible for transfer price and the required documentations between Singapore and other Asia manufacturing plants
• Liaise with auditor & tax agent on subsidiary audit/tax matters and including tax planning to maximise tax savings
• Responsible for GST filing and work with external consultants for MES renewal
• Supervise the Account Payable function to ensure timely payments
• Implement improvements/enhancements in ERP systems to increase work efficiencies
• Supervise and take leadership role in developing accounting staff

Requirements

• Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred
• Qualified CPA
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong Knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and best practices
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Open to travel within Asia at least once every quarter
