Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the full accounting function for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries. You will review costing reports, manage transfer pricing and liaise with auditors and tax experts to optimise compliance and tax efficiency.

The role requires CPA qualification, a accounting degree, 5+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. Travel within Southeast Asia up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or equivalent preferred.
• Qualified CPA is required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the full set of accounts for Singapore and Vietnam subsidiaries.
• Reviews and analyzes product costing reports for manufacturing plants.
• Responsible for transfer pricing documentation between Singapore and other Asia plants.
• Liaises with auditors and tax agents on audits and tax planning.
• Responsible for GST filing and MES renewal with external consultants.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely payments.
• Implement ERP improvements to increase work efficiency.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.

Location: Bedok (Chai Chee)

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:15am - 5:15pm

Salary: $6500 + 13 month + 2-3mths VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees the full set of Accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries
• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants
• Responsible for transfer price and the required documentations between Singapore and other Asia manufacturing plants
• Liaise with auditor & tax agent on subsidiary audit/tax matters and including tax planning to maximise tax savings
• Responsible for GST filing and work with external consultants for MES renewal
• Supervise the Account Payable function to ensure timely payments
• Implement improvements/enhancements in ERP systems to increase work efficiencies
• Supervise and take leadership role in developing accounting staff

Job Requirements:

• Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred
• Qualified CPA
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong Knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and best practices
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
