Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the full set of accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries. The role requires a CPA and a strong grasp of manufacturing costing, GST, and ERP systems.

You will lead a team, coordinate with auditors and tax agents, and ensure timely payments while driving improvements across ERP processes. Travel within Asia is expected.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or equivalent required.
• Qualified CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Willing to travel within Asia at least quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Oversees full set of accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries.
• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants.
• Responsible for transfer pricing and related documentation between Singapore and other Asia plants.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on audits, tax planning and MES renewal.
• GST filing and collaboration with external consultants.
• Supervise Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments.
• Implement ERP improvements to increase efficiency.
• Develop accounting staff and provide leadership.

Up to $6500 with AWS + 2 to 3 months VB

Responsibilities

• Oversees the full set of Accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries
• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants
• Responsible for transfer price and the required documentations between Singapore and other Asia manufacturing plants
• Liaise with auditor & tax agent on subsidiary audit/tax matters and including tax planning to maximise tax savings
• Responsible for GST filing and work with external consultants for MES renewal
• Supervise the Account Payable function to ensure timely payments
• Implement improvements/enhancements in ERP systems to increase work efficiencies
• Supervise and take leadership role in developing accounting staff

Requirements

• Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred
• Qualified CPA
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong Knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and best practices
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Open to travel within Asia at least once every quarter
