Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks an experienced LTA-FIN Manager for Asset Services to lead asset accounting and management initiatives, including capitalisation, write-offs, and related controls. The 1-year temporary contract focuses on process improvement and governance within the Asset Services Division.

You will translate current-state assessments into practical policies, develop frameworks, engage stakeholders, and implement solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
Fixed assets management experience, preferably in the public sector or a large organisation.
Able to analyse issues holistically and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
Strong learning agility and willingness to take on new challenges.
Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to review and enhance asset accounting and management practices, including asset capitalisation, write-off, and confirmation processes.
Develop policies and frameworks for asset accounting and management and translate positions into practical implementation approaches.
Review and enhance SOPs, guidelines and process documentation to ensure currency and alignment with requirements.
Provide hands-on operational support during peak periods to ensure improvements are practical and effectively implemented.
