Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking an experienced Manager, Assets Services for a 1-year temporary contract. You will lead initiatives to review asset accounting, capitalisation, write-offs, and related controls, driving improvements from analysis through implementation.

Responsibilities include policy development, framework operationalisation, SOP governance, and providing hands-on support during peak periods. Strong accounting knowledge and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Fixed assets management experience, preferably in the public sector or a large organisation.
• Able to analyse issues holistically and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
• Strong learning agility and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership qualities, and ability to drive workstreams and improvement projects from conceptualisation through implementation.
• Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools & Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to review and enhance asset accounting and management practices, including capitalisation, write-off, and confirmation processes.
• Lead the development and operationalisation of policies and frameworks for asset accounting and management.
• Review and enhance SOPs, guidelines and process documentation to ensure currency and practicality.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods to ensure improvements are practical and effectively implemented.
