Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Business Development Manager to expand the firm’s presence across Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.

You will identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with distribution partners to support strategic growth in private markets. You will work with investment, product, and marketing teams to tailor investment solutions, prepare compelling proposals, and drive roadshows, webinars, and investor events to build a robust partner ecosystem

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline; candidates with relevant financial services experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, relationship management or product distribution within financial services.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, institutional investors, wealth managers, family offices, private banks, or other distributors of financial products.
Strong interest in private markets and alternative investments with the ability to understand investment products, market trends and client needs.
Commercially minded and able to translate partner requirements into actionable investment and product solutions.
Self-motivated and capable of owning projects and relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience with presenting to partners and clients.
Knowledge of Asian wealth management and financial distribution markets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective distribution partners across East Asia and Southeast Asia.
Expand regional distribution network by identifying and managing strategic relationships with new and existing partners.
Develop domain expertise in private markets and monitor market developments to identify opportunities.
Translate partner and client needs into customized investment solutions with internal teams.
Prepare investment proposals, marketing materials, and partner-facing content with cross-functional teams.
Support and execute business development and marketing initiatives, including meetings, roadshows, webinars, and events.
Independently manage day-to-day relationships with assigned distribution partners and maintain confidentiality.
Maintain an active pipeline and provide regular reporting on revenue and KPIs.
Ensure activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction.
Collaborate with Singapore and Japan teams to achieve revenue targets and expand private markets across Asia.
