Job summary

SGP seeks a Business Development Manager to expand its private markets footprint across Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. You will identify opportunities, nurture distributor relationships, and support growth initiatives with the investment and product teams.

You will travel within Asia as needed, develop market intelligence, translate partner needs into customized solutions, and lead presentations, roadshows and events with partners and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in business development, sales or distribution in financial services.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with financial intermediaries and institutions.
• Strong interest in private markets and alternative investments.
• Commercial mindset to translate partner needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of distribution partners across East and Southeast Asia.
• Expand regional distribution by building strategic partner relationships and understanding their clients.
• Develop domain expertise in private markets and monitor market trends.
• Translate partner needs into customized investment solutions with internal teams.
• Prepare investor-facing content and coordinate marketing materials with stakeholders.
• Support events, roadshows, webinars and conferences to generate opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day partner relationships with confidentiality and integrity.
• Report progress on opportunities, mandates and KPIs to leadership.
• Ensure activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with regional teams to achieve revenue targets and growth.
